xValisone-G Cream 15g — Betamethasone Dipropionate + Gentamicin + Salicylic Acid | Prescription Only
Prescription required. Valisone-G Cream 15g by Crystolite is a triple-combination topical prescription cream for the dermatologist-supervised treatment of inflammatory skin conditions complicated by secondary infections. It combines Betamethasone Dipropionate (potent corticosteroid), Gentamicin Sulphate (broad-spectrum antibiotic), and Salicylic Acid (keratolytic) to address inflammation, bacterial infection, and excessive skin scaling simultaneously.
Indications
Prescribed for:
- Severe psoriasis
- Eczema and atopic dermatitis
- Contact dermatitis
- Lichen planus
- Inflammatory skin conditions with secondary bacterial infections
Dosage and Administration
Use strictly as directed by your dermatologist.
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
- Gently massage until absorbed.
- Do not use under occlusive dressings unless prescribed.
- Avoid face, groin, and armpits for long-term use.
- Reassess after 4 weeks; discontinue when the condition is controlled.
Adverse Reactions
- Burning or stinging at the application site
- Skin scaling
- Follicular rash
- Risk of skin atrophy with prolonged use
Precautions
- Prescription-only medicine — do not use without medical supervision.
- Discontinue immediately if irritation or sensitisation occurs.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Long-term use in infants and children must be medically supervised due to systemic absorption risk.
- Prolonged use of Salicylic Acid may cause symptoms of salicylism (dizziness, tinnitus).
Pregnancy & Lactation
Use with caution during pregnancy. Avoid prolonged or large-area application. Consult your doctor.
